Temple Square Lights: A TRAX adventure

I would say the Flemmer family is nothing, if not environmentally friendly. In that spirit, we took the TRAX down to Salt Lake City to see the Temple Lights. While Linda, Mom, Dad and Grandma tried to figure out how to pay for our rides (when was the last time you needed exact change for something?) David, Dave and Katelyn posed for pre-trip photos:

Once on the train, we got some photos of all the best buds:
Hailey and Alex

Linda, Dad and Mom

Dave and me (WE ARE SO IN LOVE!!!!)

and of course, Grandma and David.

After that, Hailey and Katelyn kept us entertained with their craziness and silly face:

When we finally got downtown, we made a quick tour through the Joseph Smith Building to see the decorations. We also took the elevators to the top of the building to see the lights from up high, but no photos from there (the elevator fiasco was enough craziness without trying to document it, too)

Finally, we reached Temple Grounds and got to walk around.

Did you know that all the lights on Temple Ground would reach from the Earth to Jupiter?

We also managed a quick trip inside the Tabernacle:
If you put all the organ pipes end to end, it would stretch from Temple Square to the Brigham Young statue on BYU campus.

Sorry, not photos of the trip home. Thanks Trax, you served us well.

Thanksgiving 2009: A holiday to remember

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Uh....how much butter, Grandma?

Linda and Ally were roll all-stars. Poor Ally mixed bread dough for about 9 hours straight.

I'm pretty sure Mom had nothing to do with the creation of those rolls.

Aunt Linda slices the cinnamon rolls, and her nails look beautiful doing it!

Emily and Eryn... so cute!

Katelyn and Hailey...Katelyn is such a camera pro!
