FINALLY, THE FINAL FOUR
Read them and weep (many of you will be very sad)
Thomas with inspired picks from Dad (Thomas still hasn't learned humility even on his mission)
is in first place by a comanding margin - 91 points!!
Our basketball expert, Eryn is in second with 82 points
David in third with 78 points
Ken has 75
Kate has 74 (As you can see the field is spreading out)
72 for Adam and Penny (how cute) however, I'll get back to Adam in a minute
Anna has 71 points and still in the hunt
Dave has 69 and will stay at 69
Elizabeth has 68
Mason shares 66 points with Grandpa Gary and Gale
Morgan close to Mom with 65 points
Emily, barely holding on with 64 points
James, are you kidding me, done with 62 points
Brittany lastly with 59 points
Okay, lets talk about Adam. Last week we were so proud, Thomas and Adam were the only 2 to have all 8 teams picked correctly. Thomas ended up with 3 in the final four. Adam missed every pick. No teams in the final four he is DONE. I definately do not stand with Adam!!!
Thomas is the only one with Michigan State in the final four.
Eryn also has 3 of the 4
I am also sorry to say that many of you WILL be standing with Adam and are completely done!
Here is the list: Adam (we can't point that out enough), Dave (I see a loser son-in-law trend), Elizabeth, next time don't take any advice from your father or mother for that matter. as usual, the Prophet, Gale (of last year's winner fame), Morgan, and James. It's a good thing the Johnson's have so many children they are still in with Kate and Anna.
Good news for Brittany, if Uconn wins, you can get out of last place and leave it to James.
Good luck everyone still in and better luck next year for all the losers!!!!!!!!!

Eryn and David each have 70 points
Anna and Ken have 67 points
Kate has 66
Morgan is right behind with 65 points along with Dave
Elizabeth and Penny rock with 64 points, however, this is as good as it gets for Elizabeth, which parent encouraged her to pick Memphis in the championship?

Emily has 60
Mason and Gary have 58
Last and Least, Brittany has 55
Good luck during the next two days!!!

March Madness 2009
Hello fellow family bracketeers:
As you can see I am sending this under Emily's name because I can't figure out how to post this with my own name. OK without further comment here are the results:
The bottom of the pack: James and Gary (The basketball prophet) with 19 correct picks
James, although admirable to follow the prophet - in this case, as the rest of us have learned, never a good idea to be in the same place as Gary (The basketball prophet.)
Hanging on with 20 points are: Mason, Brittany, and Penny
Standing alone with 21 points is: Morgan
In the middle of the pack, a three way tie: Emily, Gale, and Elizabeth
With 23 points: Anna and Ken
Nipping at the heels of the leaders with 24 points are: Eryn and Adam
Currently in the lead with 25 points are: Kate and Thomas (just so you know that Thomas didn't break any mission rules, his bracket was picked by Gary, the Dad, not Gary, the basketball prophet. Buddy, the doll, will be celebrating in his absence.
OK, some notable standout picks: Props to Ken for being the only one to pick Wisconsin over Florida State
Adam, Emily, Ken and Gale: for picking Siena over Ohio State
Adam, Gale, James and Gary for picking Western Kentucky over Illinois
And lastly, a moment of silence for David's bracket which was unfortunately destroyed after the first day of the competition. Ususally he waits for the 2nd or 3rd round to execute his bracket. I guess you could say that it is just David being David.
Good luck everyone for round 2 which will start soon!!!

Fall into the Gap
Hola Tanneritos!!
Don't worry, I don't expect anyone except Eryn and Emily to get that opening....
Anyways, GapKids is having an annual casting call for models! At first I thought of submitting the photos from Dave and Buster's of Dave and my future children... but then I read they were looking for cute children and not alien lifeforms, so I quickly changed my plan to Katelyn, Mason, Hailey, and Brooklyn.
After spending some time scoping out the competition at:
http://gap.eprize.net/castingcall/index.tbapp?page=gallery
I realized that this contest is basically in the bag.
Email me any photos that you would like to submit and I will post them all to the blog for the family to vote on. To start us off, here is a link to some photos I already had in a web album.
