Station Fire

The Los Angeles Station Fire is hitting pretty close to home! Mandatory evacuations are in place in northwest Pasadena...luckily, we are in northeast Pasadena so we are pretty far removed from immediate danger. Dave and I just got back from driving around taking pictures, and it's pretty crazy outside. It's 2:00am, but the sky is lighter from the fire and there are huge plumes of smoke rising into the air.

The top image is the view from our house, the bottom one is in Old Town Pasadena by the city capitol building.
